State of National Emergency
Monday, Feb 27, 2006, 1:58 AMProc No. 1017 is now executed in the Philippines since Feb. 24, 2006. Edsa Revolution is celebrated every 25th of February to commemorate our freedom from a dictatorial government. Some people believe that it seems to be ironical nowadays whatwith Pres. GMA's proclamation.
Classes were again cancelled due to the rise of political events which seem to destabilize/awaken the current government. It's a good thing though that as of this writing, the Fort Bonifacio standoff (due to the relief of the Marine commandant) is now over. Maybe we can now go back to helping St. Bernard people in Leyte since there are still hundreds of buried bodies, alive or not, that are waiting to be recovered.
